Drostdy-Hof Wine Estate was named after Tulbagh's magistrate's building called, De Oude Drostdy, which is a national monument built in 1804. It was first established in 1964 at the foot slopes of the Winterhoek Mountains. Drostdy-Hof wines have a variety of great flavours and fruitiness. Drostdy Hof is a medium-bodied wine. It is a blend of abundant ripe fruit with strawberry and mulberry, which offer a rich bouquet of complex berry flavours on the palate. The wine pairs perfectly with game, pasta and poultry dishes.
